Abstract
Objective: To provide awareness to the dental practitioners regarding Evidence Based Dentistry (EBD) which is a
new paradigm shift in the field of medical science.
Study Design and Methodology: This paper is a review of literature written after thoroughly searching Pub Med
for relevant articles as well as evidence based medicine and dentistry books.
Conclusion: EBD is practiced to validate our dental decision making in the best interest of patients.
